mr. yin has 20 years of experience in the technology
arena, in a variety of technical and senior management
roles. currently mr. yin is the president /
managing director of orbis terra based in the united
states.
his prior experience includes most recently executive vice president and general manager of troy group inc.'s wireless and connectivity division, where he directed and grew the business into emerging machine-to-machine (m2m) wireless markets, leveraging wireless technologies such as wireless lan and bluetooth. prior to troy mr. yin was a senior consultant with the management consulting firm mckinsey & company, where he served international clients in the telecommunications and computing industries. while there he served many fortune 500 technology clients develop successful growth strategies in markets globally, spanning north america, europe, and asia.
early in his career mr. yin worked as an electrical engineer developing communications systems for satellite communications applications.
mr. yin earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from northwestern university, his master’s degree in electrical engineering from the university of southern california, and his mba from the anderson school at ucla.

vicki h. burkhard has over 25 years of experience
in sales and marketing, focusing her career on international
business. from launching new it products in japan
to debuting ad campaigns for consumer products in
europe or managing the creation of a new marketing
strategy for an art festival in southern california,
vicki has built her career on integrity and commitment
to client service. vicki understands how to reach
across cultural divides and unite organizations with
the same goals. these provide invaluable common business
sense and exceptional cross-cultural sensitivity,
which has become such an important aspect in today’s
global business culture. over the last 20 years vicki
has worked in management roles in companies like
bernina sewing machines ltd. in switzerland, viking
components inc. in california and ireland and sonnet
technologies, inc. in california.
guenther wirrer
managing director, germany
mr. guenther wirrer is currently managing director of orbis terra and based in the german office.
guenther wirrer has over 20 years of sales and sales management experience in the germany. he has most recently been the managing director at xnetsolutions, a sales consulting firm where he helped a number of technology companies develop their sales channels and acquire major accounts. prior to that, he held senior sale management positions with extended systems, gmbh, where he was responsible for growing sales of networking devices and enterprise software through indirect channels, oems, and major accounts. prior to extended systems, mr. wirrer has also led the sales effort for a number of leading technology companies into the german market, covering a diverse range of technology products such as erp software, servers, computers, routers, industrial software and control systems.
mr. wirrer holds degrees in business (export /import) and computer programming / data processing from vhs reutlingen / fh reutlingen in germany.
george zhu
managing director. uk/us
mr. zhu has more than nineteen years of experience in product development, sales, marketing, and general management at start-ups and public companies in the telecom and it fields. mr. zhu most recently launched the europe and us sales operations for zcom, a leading wireless device company based in taiwan, selling to oem and channel accounts. prior to zcom, mr. zhu was vice- president of maxtech corporation, where he was responsible for worldwide product development, channel sales, marketing and service operations for a broad range of it products. before maxtech, he was with gvc technologies, inc. (now lite-on technology corporation) where he was vice-president for engineering and service operations.
he holds a bs in electronics engineering from city university of new york.
mark brown
director, uk
mark brown has over 20 years of sales and sales management experience in the uk and scandinavian markets. he has been responsible for establishing sales for international technology companies such as kyocera, troy, kingswell, and has extensive knowledge of and relationships in oem, indirect, and major account sales. he has a diverse technology product sales experience.
mr. brown holds electronics degrees from worcester technical college in the uk.
